Dessa forma, evitamos ter que colocar muitos zeros e fica mais f\u00e1cil entender a dimens\u00e3o do comprimento.<\/p>\n<p> Por exemplo, quando medimos o comprimento percorrido por um atleta durante uma corrida, podemos expressar o valor em metros (100 m), mas se calcularmos a dist\u00e2ncia total percorrida por um carro durante toda a sua vida \u00fatil, \u00e9 prefer\u00edvel expresse os dados em quil\u00f4metros (157.891,49 km). <\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"tabla-de-las-unidades-de-longitud\"><span class=\"ez-toc-section\" id=\"Tabla-de-las-unidades-de-longitud\"><\/span> Tabela de unidades de comprimento<span class=\"ez-toc-section-end\"><\/span><\/h2>\n<p> Embora a unidade de comprimento no Syst\u00e8me International (SI) seja o metro, existem muitas outras unidades para expressar uma medida de comprimento.
