Em outras palavras, os pontos de uma onda transversal se movem transversalmente \u00e0 dire\u00e7\u00e3o de deslocamento da onda.<\/p>\n<p> Por exemplo, uma corda presa em uma extremidade que oscila \u00e9 uma onda transversal.
