Met andere woorden, de oppervlaktedichtheid is de hoeveelheid massa per oppervlakte-eenheid.<\/p>\n<p> De term oppervlaktedichtheid wordt in het elektromagnetisme vooral gebruikt om het elektrische veld te berekenen dat door een oppervlak wordt gegenereerd.
