Artinya, jika fungsi energi potensial mempunyai nilai minimum pada titik ini.<\/li>\n<li> <strong>Kesetimbangan tidak stabil<\/strong> : Suatu titik berada dalam kesetimbangan tidak stabil jika turunan kedua energi potensial pada titik tersebut negatif.
